Burkmars aid Oakhaven
Husband and wife team Michael and Charlene Burkmar, from Burkmar Estate Agents in Lymington, ran the half marathon for Oakhaven Hospice.
Mike completed his run in 2:07 while Charlene finished in 2:11. The pair have raised more than £900. The couple have supported the charity since Charlene’s grandfather Frederick Sparks was cared for by Oakhaven 12 years ago.
Charlene told the A&T “Basically we wanted to support Oakhaven because it’s a very important local charity, it’s touched so many people’s lives in our town”.
